The Challenge

The Pokémon Company International (TPCi) was in the early stages of developing a series called 'Beyond the Pokédex.'. The series showcases in-depth knowledge and teaches viewers everything they ever wanted to know about their favorite Pokémon. Our goal was to support this pilot by completing the buildout of the Pokéstar Studio, implementing a modular and cost-effective set design, and staffing key roles for the broadcast pilot.

Our Solution

We developed renderings of the studio set design, and built and installed the set at the Belleveu studio. Once production began we provided staffing of key positions such as Project Management, Creative Director, Visual Designer, Electrician, Audio Engineer, Lighting Director, Director of Photography, Teleprompter Operator, and Production Manager.

The pilot season was comprised of nine episodes and has received approval to continue for a second season in 2024. There are over 1000 Pokémon, so we’ll be working on this project for quite some time!
